Organist extraordinaire Ty Bailie pays homage to two of the all-time greatest Hammond organ masters, Dr. Lonnie Smith & Joey DeFrancesco. With performance and recording credits that include diverse iconic names like Gladys Knight, Peter Frampton, Dave Mathews, Katy Perry, Kenny Burrell, and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ty covers an immense musical ground anytime he steps on stage. In a rare night of Hammond organ music at the Nashville Jazz Workshop, influences of blues and funk come together in the timeless swinging, grooving music of jazz masters Dr. Lonnie Smith & Joey DeFrancesco.
