Two Year Reflection

August 22nd 2019, we held our first “listening session” to hear stories of the harm done by destroying a predominately African-American community in second ward called Brooklyn, also known as the Black Wall Street. The volunteers, advocates and activist has organized intensely for two years. We wanted to have this gathering to celebrate those who have journeyed with us and provide new opportunities to participate. We will reflect, provide some new announcements and reiterate our premise. In order for Charlotte to go forward as one community, as opposed to a “tale of two cities” there has to be authentic Restorative Justice and not tokenism.
We are asking for those who have been vaccinated to participate.
At the Door: Temperature Check, Hand Sanitizing, Mask. We will practice social distance therefore only 75 seats available. Requested donation $25, to cover cost of the event. For Tickets and RSVP:
