A Circular walk

A circular walk from Hope St through Abercromby Square to Falkner Square, ending back on Hope Street

A look at two very different Georgian Squares. We will walk through a part of the University campus and learn the history of this fascinating area. We will hear of some famous former residents and admire sculptures and memorials which enhance both squares.

Accessibility: Starting outside the Everyman theatre on Hope St, the route is mainly level with some narrow pavements. Some uneven paths and some gentle inclines.

P ublic Transport: Buses stop near to Philharmonic Dining Rooms - Route 86 is very frequent.

P arking: Good parking at the Met Cathedral and Mount Pleasant Car Park and metred parking along Hope St.
