Join The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks, alongside Marcos Garcia, Chair of Two Nights Under the Stars, for an unforgettable weekend adventure in Everglades National Park! Whether you're an experienced camper or a first-timer, this event welcomes everyone to explore the beauty of Everglades National Park through hikes, campfires, storytelling, and much more.
The fun begins on Friday, January 24th, at 5 PM and concludes on Sunday, January 26th, at noon. Get excited for activities such as exploring the historic Nike missile base, stargazing, kayaking, yoga, and other engaging outdoor adventures! A full program will be available soon.
This event supports The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks, the official nonprofit partner of Everglades, Biscayne, Dry Tortugas National Parks, and Big Cypress National Preserve. The Alliance funds more programs focusing on education, exploration, and conservation. These efforts benefit the protection and exploration of Florida's treasured national parks. Campsite Details: Each campsite includes a picnic table and a fire ring. Please bring your own tent, sleeping gear, and any other personal supplies.
Meals: Catering includes dinner on Friday, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
Important Details:
- The $30 entrance fee to Everglades National Park is not included in the ticket price.
- Full refunds (minus the Eventbrite fee) are available up to 60 days before the event. Refunds of 50% (minus the Eventbrite fee) are available up to 30 days before the event. No refunds are provided within 30 days of the event.
What to Bring:
- Personal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, etc.)
- Comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear
- Insect repellent and sunscreen
- Water bottles and hydration systems
- Snacks and non-perishable food
- Cooking utensils and camp stove (if needed)
- First aid kit and necessary medications
- Headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries
- Toiletries and hygiene items
- Towel and swimwear (for water activities)
- Hat, sunglasses, and rain gear
- Binoculars for birdwatching
- Notebook and pen for journaling
- Camera or smartphone for memories
- Cash or card for park fees and additional purchases
- Bike (available for rent in Flamingo)
