We’re holding two swing workshops on two fabulous swing dancing/styling with two of the most fabulous swing dancers… Trish and Derek!
Workshop #1: Musicality, Breaks and Play
In this workshop our guest teachers Trish and Derek will explore the different styles and structure of swing music, learn how to predict the breaks and be creative and play with it!
Workshop #2: Steppin’ Pretty
This is all about Style!!!!! Derek and Trish will teach you some of their favourite moves and how to dance in a way that’s both creative and expressive and full of style! It’s about turning your dancing into a fun conversational experience!
About Derek and Trish?
Trish and Derek are two of the best swing dancers/teachers. They’ve been dancing swing since 2001. In that time they’ve had an impressive record of wins and places in Lindy Hop (& Bal) competitions, have been judges at multiple national competitions including the Australian Swing Dancing Championships (on the SLX weekend) and have taught for many years!
However… the most important part… their swing dancing is fabulous!
We’re soooo excited to have them teach what should be an awesome afternoon of swing!

Times:
Workshop 1: 1.30-2.45pm
Workshop 2: 3.00-4.15pm
Cost: $25 for one workshop, $40 for both
