Two-Hour Unique Interactive Urban Farm and Cooking Experiences for Children

Kids 5-12 get hands-on experiences to see the process of growing fruits and vegetables. They also prep and taste the food they make.
About this Event

This unique experience combines agricultural education, cooking lessons, and nutrition awareness in a camp-like setting for children ages 5 - 12 to improve develop positive life skills training and improve access to food. All classes and materials are provided by Suncoast Credit Union and Daystar Life Center.

Children also receive a home kitchen tool kit, a recipe book, and a garden kit to grow healthy food at home.

Please register in advance. Class size is limited.

Children must be accompanied by their parent, grandparent, or guardian.
