Exciting news is in the works! Holding true to Malvern’s slogan “Artfully Growing”, and continuing revitalization efforts, Art Church Iowa is excited to share that another entrepreneur is coming to downtown Malvern. Larry Dunn, of Breezy Acres Guitar Repair and Inlay Art is moving his business to Studio 414 on Main Street. Larry has an established reputation for restoring and repairing stringed instruments, creating one of a kind inlay work, and has built a strong reputation for his beautiful jewelry. In addition, he will offer guitar lessons. Malvern will soon have a guitar repair/inlay/jewelry shop on Main Street! The downside is, Studio 414 Air BnB will be going away to make room for this full time business. It is just one more way Malvern will continue to “Artfully Grow”!
A talented musician in his own right, Larry, aka Lash LaRue, and his band, The Mercury’s were inducted into Iowa’s Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.
Opening a new business has risks and hidden costs. Art Church Iowa would like to give this new business a warm welcome and express gratitude for enriching downtown Malvern by hosting Larry’s latest band, Two Dollar Pistols. Larry, along with Dan Sullivan, Becky (formerly of High Heel & The Sneakers) and Drew Morelock, will play at The Art Church on February 22nd. Please join us for a night of great music in support of Malvern Small Business. All proceeds will go toward Larry’s new storefront, Breezy Acres Guitar Repair and Inlay Art.
