In Detroit, two teenagers from different sides of the city's divided landscape find their lives unexpectedly intertwined. As their paths cross, they confront hidden truths about identity, privilege, and justice in a city shaped by systemic inequities. Set against Detroit's evolving backdrop, the story reveals how education, zip codes, and privilege create parallel realities within the same urban space. Through youth performances, the production explores what happens when these separate worlds collide, challenging audiences to examine the invisible boundaries that divide communities and the surprising connections that emerge when those barriers begin to break down. "Two Detroits" asks us to consider both the systems that keep us apart and the shared humanity that bridges these divides.
