LIZ GORDON AND WILLIS BREI, a dynamic comedy duo hailing from Owensboro, Kentucky, and Dekalb, Illinois respectively, are the creative minds behind a unique brand of humor that blends wit, satire, and impeccable timing. With nearly a decade of comedy under their belts, Liz and Willis joined forces three years ago, bringing their unique blend of humor to stages all across Chicago.
Their comedic journey began in Second City's Conservatory Program, where their chemistry on and off stage became immediately evident. Their duo sketch show, "Just My Imagination," sold out Judy's Beat Lounge in Piper's Alley, captivating audiences with their clever sketches and relatable humor.
Beyond their on-stage antics, Liz and Willis are deeply entrenched in the theater community. Both are resident artists, with Willis holding the esteemed position of Artistic Director at Two Chairs Theatre Co. Their collective efforts recently propelled the company to the forefront of Chicago's theater scene, earning them the prestigious title of Chicago Reader's 2024 Best New Theatre Company.
Together, Liz and Willis are rewriting the comedy playbook, serving up laughs with a side of charm wherever they go.
