Two Cats on a Date

Tragically weird. Unnecessarily sexual. Two Cats on a Date is exactly what it sounds like. And then much worse. A high-energy solo show in which one woman plays two cats whose romantic dinner kaleidoscopes into a world of intergenerational regret.
Cat Date, as we call it, has sold out houses in New York, LA, Seattle, and the Edinburgh Fringe, to critical acclaim and 5 star reviews.

Creators Griffin Kelly & Shozo Okada met getting their film degrees, dated briefly (oops!) and began making sketch comedy together. They create and produce award-winning live shows around Los Angeles with their sketch team, Swamp Baby. Shozo has several Addy awards under his belt, and Griffin is known for her work with the Celebration Theatre, Public Assembly, and starring in the Emmy winning HBO series, Book of Queer.
This showing at the Lyric Hyperion marks the beginning of a four-city tour through the United States.
