This session looks at your child’s journey from being ready to learn at the age of two to being ready for school at the age of five.
About this Event

This free session looks at your child’s journey from being ready to learn at the age of two to being ready for school at the age of five. Throughout the session we will look at the skills your child is learning on the journey to starting school and how you can support your child to develop these skills.

We recognise all children will learn at different paces; there will be time to discuss concerns or worries you may have and where you can get further support. We will also look at how to apply for school when the time comes.

Whether your child has just turned two and is at the start of this learning journey or is already on the way, this session is for you.

This session is face-to-face. Tickets are free and spaces are limited. Please let us know if you are unable to attend, so the space can be used for others.

Who is the session for? Families with children aged 2 to 5 years old who have not started Year R. You are welcome to bring your child/ren to this session, we will have plenty of activities and toys to keep them entertained. Please let us know their age when you book your space on Eventbrite.

N.B. This session is open to all parents and carers of babies and children registered with a Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust (formerly Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust) Health Visiting team. Excluding Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight Health Visiting services.
