🌪️ Twisters and Taproom Talks: Remembering the 2024 Memorial Day Tornadoes 🍻Join us for an evening of weather stories, community discussion, and severe weather awareness in Downtown Bentonville.
Hosted by members of the new Northwest Arkansas American Meteorological Society (AMS) / National Weather Association (NWA) local chapter, this event will feature three short presentations and informal conversations with local meteorologists from Walmart, local government, and Northwest Arkansas news stations (including Chief Meteorologist Dan Skoff!) as we reflect on the 2024 Memorial Day tornado outbreak and discuss what we learned from it.
Whether you’re a weather enthusiast, storm spotter, emergency management professional, student, or just curious about severe weather in our region, this is a great opportunity to connect with the local meteorology community in a relaxed setting.
