Need 5 girls and 5 guys! Can have an EH of either sex to bat 12 but need 5 girls on the field at all times! As well as guy/girl/guy/girl throughout the entire lineup.
If guy walks in front of girl then he gets awarded 2nd base and girl can walk if she wants. Runners on base only score in forced in! So if a runner is on 2nd base and a guy gets walked then it’ll be 2nd and 3rd with the option to the girl getting 1st base!
Guys and girls can swing any 240 Utrip bats make sure none are on the banned list!! Needs new stamp!!
USSSA 12” balls for guys
USSSA 11” balls for girls
Safety bags at 1B and home plate
Commitment grey line between home and 3B then force out at home(to try avoid any injuries as much as possible)
If the runner crosses over homeplate/strike mat they will be out! They must run/walk, NOT slide across the grey line at home!
Throwing errors out of play will be 1 base, but 2 bases if the outfielder(not the infielder that happens to throw it from anywhere in the OF)
1 runner per sex per inning can be anyone(same sex though)
Pitcher does get their own runner!
7 innings and or 40 minutes WBG whichever comes first!
5 innings and or 30 minute LBG whichever comes first!
5 run limit per inning with the final inning being an open inning! Final inning being 7th inning in WB games and 5th inning in the LB games! Umpires and myself will give both teams an inning advance notice on when this open inning will take place if times crunching down.
IF time limit runs out and the away team is batting and winning then the home team only needs to tie it to be awarded the win in the bottom half of that inning!!! This is the ultimate perk of winning the coin flip for home/away before the start of every game!!
If the home team is batting and winning when time limit runs out then they will be declared the winners! As well as if there is 2 minutes OR LESS and the home team is coming up to bat and winning then that’ll be game! Cannot start a new inning with 2 minutes or less of home team is winning! Make sure to create some urgency in your teams when coming in and out!
Will be single innings to avoid any confusion about when the double innings ends etc etc
HRs and Auto Doubles will be explained by umpire and or me before the start of every teams first game
Cannot throw out girls at 1B from the OF but can double them up at 1B! Can throw out a guy at 1B!
No smoking, dipping, chewing tobacco of any kind, no food or drinks outside of just water and Powerade’s are allowed inside the dome.
No arguing with other teams or umpires will not be tolerated will result in thrown out if game and or tourney! Make sure you trust your players enough to behave themselves while playing underhand indoor slowpitch softball! That means while playing and while in the parking lot!
