Join us on Saturday Nov 15, 2025 as we tour up and down Texas Street in downtown Shreveport. This will be our first walking tour in a very long time! This walking tour will focus on Texas Street. We will meet at Rhino Coffee (624 Texas St). After grabbing some coffee we will walk to the head of Texas Street (near the Methodist Church) and go towards the river, then come back on the other side. We will have pictures of old buildings to show along the way! If you like Shreveport history and have ever wondered where certain buildings used to be or what they used to look like, you will love this! Park along Texas Street (parking on the street is free on Saturdays) and we will meet up at Rhino Coffee. Let us know if you intend to be there so we will have an idea of what size group we will have. We are asking for a $20 per person donation to cover some of our costs. Hope to see you there!
