About this Event
As part of California Biodiversity Day, Julian Krzysiak, our Conservation Committee Chair, is hosting an educational walk around the preserve. Let's walk around in the evening and learn about Mojave Desert Natural History. We will talk about how all the plants, birds, rocks, skies, and cultures all come together to create the natural environment we call home, our Mojave Desert.
Bring questions and curiosity, and perhaps your own experiences and expterise!
When we are done, you can have the chance to attend the Moon Walks held by the AV Astronomy Club in the same location, so it would be a good idea to join them to learn about astronomy and the night sky!
