Twenty-One Senses will be hosting the annual garage sale and a fill-a-truck event. YOU can help by donating items, shopping at the garage sale (4923 W Balmoral Ave, Chicago), or volunteering to help before, during, or after the sale.Each year, we collect donations of lightly used goods. These donations are used in two ways:
At the end of the day, collect and load unsold goods from the Forest Glen Community Garage Sale, so these physical goods become a monetary donation for Twenty-One Senses.
We host a yard sale in the neighborhood at our founder’s home, 4923 W, Balmoral Ave, 60630; we collect unsold goods from our neighbor’s sales at the end of the day, and we turn all of the physical goods into a monetary donation to help support the neurodiverse community.
Donations We Can Accept
Clothes (in Bags) – men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes, coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, ties, belts, backpacks, etc.
Shoes and Belts (In Bags) –shoes, boots, slippers, belts, etc.
Reading Materials (In Boxes) – magazines, textbooks, novels, comics, etc.
Soft Goods (In Bags) – blankets, towels, sheets, stuffed animals, etc…
Hard Goods (In Boxes) – small appliances, dishes, silverware, nicknacks, toys, kitchen items, etc…
If it fits in a bag or box a single person can pick up and carry, we can take it!
Please use BAGS for clothes and textiles.
All items must be clean and in sellable condition. No Furniture.
