Titled “The Clancy Tour: Breach 2025,” the run comes in support of their upcoming new album Breach, which will arrive in September. They’ve also revealed “The Contract,” Breach’s first single.
“The Contract” serves as the introduction to Breach, which picks up where their last album Clancy left off. The video depicts frontman Tyler Joseph (referred to as Clancy) meeting what appears to be a necromancer; Joseph and drummer Josh Dun then appear in a vast, dimly-lit space populated by hundreds of creatures with glowing red eyes. Over a quick, hip-hop-inspired beat from Dun, Joseph narrates an anxious, sleep-deprived state, eventually landing on the plea “Just take the deal/ I promised you/ A contract.” Watch the song’s official video below.
Breach’s September release date is currently unknown, but the album will feature a climactic narrative that closes out the multi-album arc laid out in 2015’s Blurryface, 2018’s Trench, 2021’s Scaled and Icy, and 2024’s Clancy. Breach will arrive via the band’s longtime label home, Fueled by Ramen. The Ohio-based duo, comprised of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, is best known for their hits “Stressed Out,” “Ride” and “Heathens.” .
