Twelve Parsecs are all about rock ’n’ roll that’s raw, energetic, and utterly infectious.This young, dynamic band have been making waves over the last three years. Fuelled by their passion for rock classics, they first burst onto the scene in 2021 as a brother and sister duo with electrifying covers, quickly gaining viral acclaim, most notably for their rendition of Led Zeppelin’s "Black Dog”.
With the addition of a bassist, their live performances have evolved into a high-octane explosion of sound. Appearing on a multitude of prominent stages across Perth, their shows deliver high energy, featuring searing guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and a mesmerising rhythm section that will leave you wanting more.
Drawing inspiration from iconic bands including the likes of Silverchair, Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin, their original compositions are infused with liveliness and a unique sound. Having released two original songs in 2023, Twelve Parsecs emerged victorious in their category at the 2024 West Australian Music (WAM) Song of the Year Awards, which has given them more ambition and a lot more rock energy.
