Join us to read and discuss A JOURNEY TO THE NEW WORLD: THE DIARY OF REMEMBER PATIENCE WHIPPLE, MAYFLOWER 1620, part of the Dear America series by Newbery Honor Author Kathryn Lasky. T(w)een Book Club meets weekly on Thursdays, with discussion of this book selection ending on December 5.
Bring your own copy of the book or check one out from the library on our first session. During each session, we will read a portion of the book and discuss our thoughts on that specific section. Each week there will be several chapters that will need to be read at home as well. On our last session, we will read the last chapter together and discuss things like our favorite part of the story, our favorite characters, and if we would change anything about the story.
For ages 11-14.
