Howdy, campers! Your counselors at Camp Vini-Vini-Nifera are calling everyone back to the campfire circle — this time to take a closer look at what’s been growing right here at home.
For this gathering, we’re turning our gaze homeward and pouring our way through the wide, wild world of Texas wine. Not loudly. Not defensively. Just clearly. These are wines shaped by heat, wind, elevation, and by people who chose to stay, build, and believe that world-class wine belongs here.
This class is about listening to Texas — tasting with open minds and open hearts, and letting go of the idea that greatness has to come from somewhere else. Along the way, we’ll briefly touch on how Texas quietly played a role in the global wine story, but the real focus is here, now, and close to home.
Think of it as a love letter to our own backyard:
