Join us for our Annual Alliance Book Sale! We will have hundreds of gently loved books, CDs, DVDs, VCRs, vinyl records, games and puzzles for sale at bargain basement prices. Books are sorted by category including art, health, religion & philosophy, children's, science, how-to, and more.The TVUUC Alliance is one of the longest-running groups in our TVUUC community, and the Book Sale is their only fundraiser. The Alliance votes to spend the money each year on in-house improvements that benefit our whole community such as our commercial dishwasher, the new floor in the Lizzie Crozier French Room, and seed money for the development of the Children's Justice and Diversity Library.
Those wishing to donate to the Book Sale may do so until Thursday, February 12. Please do not donate magazines, encyclopedias, or textbooks. Before Saturday’s Book Sale, all donations must be sorted by various categories on Thursday and Friday (Feb. 12-13). Volunteers who dedicate at least 4 hours sorting donated materials beginning Thursday, February 12 at 10:30, can make purchases prior to the Book Sale hours on Saturday. Volunteers sorting books on Thursday might want to bring a bag lunch.
