The City of Tuscaloosa and Mayor Walt Maddox will host the 2025 Mayor’s Cup 5K for Pre-K on Saturday, April 26 at 8 a.m. in Downtown Tuscaloosa. The Mayor’s Cup, presented by Mercedes-Benz U.S. International raises funds for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative, which aims to expand Pre-K access for Tuscaloosa children.The 5K is open to all ages and participants are welcome to run or walk. Timing chips attached to race bibs will be used to determine race results, and awards will be given.
The registration fee is $20 until the end of February, $25 during the month of March, and $30 from April 1 to the day of the race (April 26). Racers must register by April 9 to guarantee receipt of a race shirt.
