On Saturday, September 6th, The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum presents Turtle Trek: A Free Kids' Nature Walk at Cooter Pond. This program is recommended for kids of all ages. This is a guided nature walk to see birds and alligators with some talking about the species, what they eat, and where they live around the high boardwalk over the pond.
We meet at 10:00 am just inside The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum. Spaces are limited, so please preregister by calling the museum office at (352) 341-6428. We recommend you bring water and sunscreen.
