🌊🐢 Join us to farewell Liz! 🐢🌊 Liz the green sea turtle is ready to return to the wild! Rescued from Arrawarra by a member of the public with float syndrome in November 2024. Liz's journey to recovery has been made possible thanks to the incredible team at the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary.
Celebrate this milestone and bid Liz farewell as we release him back into the ocean. Join us as we bid farewell at Digger's Beach, Coffs Harbour. Look for the Sanctuary flags.
Liz will be farewelled in partnership with the Australian Womens' Classic, hosted at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club.

NOTES ON THE RELEASE:
Please arrive promptly so as not to miss out on this special journey that lies ahead for the turtle. Turtle releases are always very quick, to help reduce the wait time for the animal, especially if they have travelled to get to their location.
*Animal releases are always tide and weather dependent and can be cancelled at any time. Please like and follow this event to stay up to date with information as it comes to hand.
