Nestled at the southern tip of Africa lies the Turtle Conservation Center (TCC), a place of care perched above the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town. Here, Talitha is a part of a team that tend to injured sea turtles, many of whom have drifted from their hatching grounds, battered by the consequences of human activity.
Sea turtles: their stomachs filled with plastic and bodies entangled in ocean waste, serve as a stark reminder of our collective impact on the planet. Yet, they also possess the power to inspire us—to ignite our compassion, our efforts, and spur us into action.
