Join us for Meadowlark Cancer Program's November Group Watch titled "Cancer-Related Fatigue" at 8:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in the KSU Classroom at Meadowlark, 2121 Meadowlark Rd., Manhattan, Kan. This is a two-hour session. Cancer-related fatigue, different from fatigue in healthy people, is the most common side effect of cancer treatment. How cancer treatments cause fatigue is not clear, but many different factors, including side effects from treatments such as anemia, poor nutrition or depression, contribute to this fatigue. We will discuss ways to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life. Meadowlark Cancer Program participants will watch this session together in the KSU Classroom at Meadowlark. Registration is not required.
This opportunity is offered in collaboration with Turning Point, and is led by Cath Glennon, Registered Nurse. To learn more about Turning Point, visit https://www.kansashealthsystem.com/health-resources/turning-point/programs
