About this Event
Join us as we explore the power of accessibility and how businesses can become more inclusive towards their audiences and in their hiring practices to sustain long term success.
According to the World Health Organisation, over 1 billion people (15%) of the world's population live with some form of disability. Consumer insights experts include the friends and family of individuals who identify with a disability which adds an additional 3.4bn consumers. Together, these groups have over $13 trillion in disposable income.
Yet research has found that 65% of disabled consumers felt their purchasing choices were limited due to accessibility issues, which raises the question - could businesses be doing more?
Disability inclusion has been included within five of the Sustainable Development Goals emphasising the importance of creating long-term actions as a way of future proofing the businesses' sustainability and growth.
