An Education Day open to all Healthcare Professionals involved in the

care of girls or women with Turner Syndrome [TS]

The Turner Syndrome Support Society [UK] is proud to be hosting this event with support from Novo Nordisk. This is a day that was planned for the 10th Turner Syndrome International Conference [TSI2020], but it had to be canceled because of the pandemic.

The theme for this Education Day is

“Collaborating for better understanding of heart & fertility risks in TS”

All too often, we hear about girls and ladies with TS having to make choices regarding heart care, treatment, and surgery. This can often have implications for their fertility options. the girls, ladies, and their families must make complex decisions affecting their future health. Both healthcare professionals and families want the best for their patients. We thought bringing you together to discuss the latest research findings and clinic experiences from different countries would be beneficial. We wanted to provide an opportunity for Health Care Professionals to come together to share their knowledge and expertise. We will have expert panel discussions, with Prof Gerry Conway, Prof Claus Gravholt, Prof Melanie Davies, Dr Helen Turner, Prof Jo Blair Endocrinology, Genetic, Cardiac & Fertility teams from Glasgow, London & Denmark, and many more, plus short presentations and poster presentations.

This an open invitation to any Health Care professional interested in TS to attend as a delegate and take part in discussions. Please share this invitation but be aware that places are limited.

A full-day education programme

An opportunity to submit a 10-minute oral presentation and/or a poster

A rare opportunity to meet colleagues with TS specialist knowledge and to share
