Turn it Up Rock Camp organizes participants into bands where they write an original song, get individual/group instruction and perform a showcase at the end of camp week. Throughout the week there are breakout sessions for things like songwriting, zine making, and more!
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to use music as a vehicle for opportunity and empowerment for those who experience marginalization because of their gender identity and expression. We aim to create an inclusive and collaborative environment focused on building and encouraging self-esteem, independent thought and leadership.
Turn it Up is a program of Volume Up, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in the Fox Cities.
Harper Hall has been made available to us through an in-kind contribution from Lawrence University.
