About this Event
This month we'll be hearing from , Head of Events at . Anna lives in Enstone with her partner, young daughter, and two cheeky cats who love to bring her daily gifts (read: dead mice and birds) and in her spare time she enjoys getting creative with a bit of bag-making or furniture painting.
Most companies think more about how their marketing team can help with an event (e.g. promotion) rather than how an event can help their marketing team. But given that events can grow awareness, increase loyalty, and lead to sales, they're actually a brilliant marketing tool. So in this session we'll be learning how to effectively bring them into your marketing mix - and make the most of them.
We'll start by looking at the different kinds of events businesses could think about hosting - whether online or IRL - and the pros/cons of various options. And we'll explore how we can look at events through a marketing lens, considering key questions and activities it's good to think about before, during, and after.
Then we'll focus on how we can define and measure success, as well as learn from our efforts so we can do even better next time around. And all accompanied by plenty of real-life examples of great (and not-so-great) events and how they've contributed meaningfully to brand growth.
