The annual community Turkey Carnival sponsored by the Filer American Legion Post 47 and Auxiliary willbe held on Friday, November 22, at the Fire Department building at the corner of Fair Avenue and
Highway 30 in Filer. Food service begins at 5:30 p.m., with twenty Bingo games to follow at 7:00 p.m.
Participants win (frozen) turkeys and door prizes in the evening. The menu includes hot dogs, chili, chili
dogs, pie, and drinks at affordable prices. Proceeds support veteran services, the Boys State, Girls State, and the
Boy Scouts programs sponsored by the Post and Unit.
Bring a canned food donation, and your first bingo card of the night is free!
