About this Event
Turing Network Development Award
The University of Strathclyde has been awarded a Network Grant from The Alan Turing Institute. As part of this grant The University will host a series of talks on AI related topics in collaboration with The Alan Turing Institute and additional university strategic partners. Alongside these seminars will be networking events for PhD, post-doctoral and early career researchers, aiming to develop existing and future cross-university multi-disciplinary research relationships on AI and related topics.
Turing Seminar and Networking Event #2 – The challenges associated with interfacing AI with Humans
Machine learning is well established for solving tightly defined tasks such as classification and regression with well curated data sets. Industrial systems are becoming increasingly a blend of human experts, physical assets and digital representations. This event will explore challenges around human machine interfaces, cognitive intelligence and cooperative human-machine systems.
