In this workshop led by Grantly Ricketts, UF/IFAS Extension St. Lucie County Director and Commercial Horticulture Agent, you will learn about reading pesticide labels, understanding laws and regulations, and safety, storage and disposal of pesticides. Dr. John Roberts from Osceola County will provide instruction on integrated pest management, pest control in turf, as well as signs and symptoms of insect and disease. Additionally, we will cover the calculations necessary for accurately measuring pesticides used in ornamental and turf, as well as private agricultural operations. Please note that lunch will not be provided.Registration is required.
