Often referred to as a fusion between knitting and crochet, Tunisian Crochet produces a unique, woven-like fabric. Traditionally used to create thicker items such as blankets, it is also known as Afghan Crochet. In this session, you will learn how to get started to create your foundation row. You will also learn how to complete the forward and return pass for the Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS), as well as how to change colour and bind off. Part 1 also comes with a whole set of Tunisian Crochet Hooks. A basic knowledge of ‘standard’ crochet is required.
