A little about The Sundown Drifters:
The Sundown Drifters are an Americana roots band from Reno Nevada. The band is rooted in the country bluegrass genre but will occasionally add the ole’ not so standard-standard to round out any given set. The trio is lead by frontman Dusty Miles who takes on the crooning duties and is accompanied by his acoustic rhythm guitar and harmonica. Long time band mate Chris Beucherie who has been a staple with bands including Dusty Miles and the Cryin’ Shame, The Darlins, and the Danny Horton Trio. Mr. B holds down the rhythm train with his percussive doghouse bass. Rounding out the Trio is Michael Tilton who has been a standout with the hotlicks on both electric/acoustic guitar for decades playing in the long time regional favorites The Lazy 8’s and more recently the New Harvesters. They’ll be accompanied for select shows by Derek Smith on percussion who also shares past experiences with The Lazy Eights and New Harvesters. Their shows are surely to incite some moving and shaking with the occasional sing along and are definitely not to be missed.
