For the November edition, we’ll be fixing bikes as usual, but will also be making Trophies for the “Assemblies” - our annual awards given out at the Christmas Party. So if you have old pistons, sprockets, etc, that we can cut up and weld into a trophy, please bring them. This is also a great opportunity to learn some basic welding principles, if you’ve never done it before. If you haven’t attended one of these before; Tune-up Tuesday is an opportunity to get together at a garage and work on your bike with friends. Even if you don’t have a project or repair, come out and assist others, share your knowledge, or learn something new.
The garage has a bike lift, tire changer, welder, torches, etc., so there’s not much we can’t attempt. If you need your bike hauled, post a comment and we can probably find a way to get it to the garage.
Our house bar, Engineers and Esquires, will be open and is well stocked. We will have food, beverages, a bonfire, and the event is open to anyone, whether they ride or not. We also have driveway space for cars, if someone needs to do brakes, an oil change, or something relatively easy. It’s family friendly, but we tend to go well into the evening.
