Tummo is our wisdom fire. We naturally have this warmth within us, but we are not usually aware of it, and we do not use it. When we develop proper concentration and begin to work with our inner fire, we can completely transform ourselves. Through a combination of movements, breathing techniques and visualizations we generate the Tummo flame and spread it throughout the body.
On a physical level, the Tummo fire increases our self-healing powers. On an energetic level, it surges energy throughout our body. On the level of mind, Tummo is the source of love, joy, happiness and bliss. Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche has an exceptional connection to Tummo. He has practiced it for over 25 years. Rinpoche has received Tummo teachings and transmissions from different lineages and his deep understanding of this powerful practice makes him an incredibly skillful, wise and compassionate teacher. Tulku-la shares this secret practice openly, because he believes it can bring great benefit in these challenging times. Tummo is a precious method from the Tantrayana tradition, one of the three main paths of Buddhism, intended to help us tap into our inner wisdom, so that we can realize the true nature of our mind. If this precious method is not taught and practiced, then it will no longer be a living teaching.
