Tullibole Castle is a typical example of a 17th century tower house.
Completed in 1608 it is a classic example of a Scottish tower house in a parkland setting. Contents include a collection of 18th and 19th century paintings and portraits of past owners of Tullibole Castle and their relations; including some by Raeburn, and furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Also you can visit the Witches Maze a memorial to commemorate the Crook of Devon witch trials in 1662, when some eleven people were strangled to death because they were believed to be witches. The memorial can be seen in the grounds. There are also the ruins of a medieval church and old kirkyard, a moat and a doocot in the grounds.
The castle is now primarily used as a venue for weddings and events.
