‘Weaving is one way of how Māori tell their stories. It is a written language in Te Ao Māori.
The resources are sustainable to last years ahead. Your tukutuku panel will leave an exquisite finishing look, ready to hang up on to the wall once completed.’
The Ngākau Carving Symposium is a two-week public event that welcomes the Community across generations and cultures, from mokopuna to Kuia and Kaumātua. The symposium is proudly hosted and by Te Kura o te Kauaeranga, Thames South School.
