Our first event of 2025 will take place at The Midland Railway - Butterley on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April.Take a trip down memory lane as we display a selection of original character models, production material and merchandise from the 1980’s children’s TV series TUGS.
We are very excited to announce that there will be 2 new production items on display for the first time with the collection..
The original Sally Seaplane & Top Hat models will be joining us for this special weekend. Our thanks go their owners for making them possible to display.
On the Sunday all available character models will be together for a one off group photo opportunity.
Vintage bus rides around Swanwick Junction will be provided by Midland Road Transport Group.
There will be an activity / colouring sheet for all children and a Spot The Tug trail across both stations.
Other on-site attractions include The Demonstration Signal Box, Victorian Railwayman’s Church, Stationary Power House and Road Transport Display.
