Come and join our new tutors Petra and Lilly, on this 4-week course for teens, all about having fun and trying something new!
We will be learning the basics of throwing on the wheel and the full process of creating pieces from start to finish including trimming, decorating and glazing.
Students should expect to have 2-3 pieces by the end of the course.
Class will be Tuesdays 6 - 8pm, 15th Oct - 12th Nov (with a break 5th Nov to allow for drying time.)
Young people attending this course need to be able to self manage, follow instructions and take responsibility for clean up at the end of the night. Bring a towel and an apron ready to get muddy!
This is an evening class from 6 - 8 pm - students need a safe way to get home at the end of the night.
Most clay, firing costs, slips and glazes are included. (those high production potters may need to bring their own clay after 5 kg of club clay is used up)
Please remember to stay home if you are unwell. Mask wearing during the class will be optional.
Course cancellation policy as follows:
3+ weeks prior to start of term students will get a $115 refund.
1+ week prior to start of term students will get a $50 refund.
Cancellations less than 1 week prior to class starting due to illness, bad weather or any other reason will not be given any refund. If you are unable to attend a class during the term, we are unable to guarantee any makeup sessions.
We reserve the right to cancel a class with insufficient enrolment. A full refund will be issued in this case including any Eventbrite fees.
