1st up we will have guest speakers Steven Jacob & Damien Woods from Jacobs Law. Jacobs don’t practice in any other areas focusing solely on Property Law. Steven Jacob is a Seasoned law practitioner with extensive experience and expertise across Domestic and commerciaial Conveyancing, Contract and consumer law along with Technology & Social Media law.
Damian Woods has over 25 years experience with expert knowledge in conveyancing, mortgages and mortgage litigation, leal drafting, GDPR and regulatory compliance.

Starting from the ground up Darren has built his knowledge, network,and specialist power team, when combined with an in-house construction company, blood, sweat and tears. Darren has been able to grow and develop his property business. Starting in the buy to let sector, using the Buy Refurbish Refinance model Darren developed the knowledge and experience to advance into HMO’s, flips and onto commercial to residential conversions. Using creative strategies to negate the finance difficulties working in small towns and cities In Ireland.
Darren has undertaken and put to practice most if not all that can be thought of in the creative strategies column. Planning gain, Repair and Lease, Long Term lease, HAP, lease option, delayed completion to name only a few of tools and mechanisms learnt and experienced by Darren.Using council schemes, grants and planning incentives he works closely with investors, private lenders and the local council to return these unsightly, dangerous, depressing buildings back into warm, safe homes.
Darren and his wife Blathnaid combined talents and together with Blathnaids social networking, and content creation abilities, the duo have gradually grown Irish Property Investors Facebook page. A page where anyone who has interest or experience in the Irish Property and invest market can share, learn and grow their knowledge and experience. In a safe and inviting forum.
Darren is going to update us on what he’s been working on, challenges he has faced and what has and hasn’t worked for him in the south east over the last few years.
