About this Event
Learn how to paint expressively using oil paint and photo references of the French countryside with iconic chateaus and lavender fields.
This class will have instructor demos/lessons and 1-on-1 guidance with a focus on painting fields, lavender and including small buildings.
Oil painting fundamentals are covered in every session: studio materials, color, value, atmospheric perspective, cropping photo references, blending, and layering.
By the end of the course, students will have completed a painting, or two, of the French countryside with iconic chateaus, lavender fields, and vineyards.
Topics covered in the "Trip to France" session:
- fields
- simplifying plant life
