The group features the dynamic interplay of Keaton Wilson (keys/synth), Zach White (drums), Patrick Morris (bass), and Trey Bryant (saxophone).
Recorded at St. Cecilia Studios in Tucson, 8 Myths is a vivid journey through eight evocative tracks—each one a sonic take on a different kind of myth, from folkloric funk (“Sasquatch”) to surreal electronic lo-fi soundscapes (“A Goddess Technicolor”) to third-stream montunos (“Messiaen Around”). The album features original compositions by Wilson, Morris, and Bryant, and melds modern jazz with elements of funk, fusion, and electronic sound design.
