MERRY TUBA CHRISTMAS!The annual Tubachristmas will be held in Trappe, Pa on December 1st, 2024. Tubachristmas is that special time of the year when persons who play the noblest of all instruments, the tuba, euphonium, or baritone horn, get together to play Christmas carols for the public. It happens across the nation from late November until Christmas. This event provides support to the Harvey Phillips Foundation's mission to promote new works and compositions.
DATE: Sunday, December 1st
PLACE: Community Music School (775 W. Main Street, Trappe Pa 19426)
REGISTRATION: 12:30 P.M
REHEARSAL: 1-2:30PM
PERFORMANCE: 3:00PM
COST: Registration $10.00, includes Tubachristmas button. Music $20.00 (If you already own Tubachristmas music, you do not need to buy another copy.)
CONDUCTOR: Prof Harry Oehler, Ursinus College
*Supported by the Spring Valley Community Band, a program of Community Music School*
BRING: Instrument, music (if you already own a copy), and holiday spirit. If you wish, you may decorate your instrument in a seasonal manner!
Light refreshments will be provided for participants during registration.
