Our speaker for our November member event will be photographer, author, and teacher Thomas Ames, Jr. The event will be on November 20, 2025 at 6:30 pm. We will be at our usual location Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests Conservation Center, 54 Portsmouth Street in Concord.
Thomas Ames, Jr. was a commercial photographer for thirty years before writing his first book “Hatch Guide for New England Streams”. He wrote two more books “Fishbugs” and “Caddisflies” before his most recent book “Pocketguide to Eastern Hatches”. Not being one to rest on his achievements, he began a second career as a teacher and received a Master’s degree in Teaching at the age of 60.
Come join us! You do not need to be a member to attend and we welcome first-timers. We start with pizza at 6:30 with speaker at 7:00.
