This exclusive professional development opportunity, serves as a strategic, long-term retention tool aimed at expanding networks among educators across the state, and building sustainability and growth in the profession.
This unique offering is provided FREE OF CHARGE to all participants, including school and district leaders.

This opportunity is for educators of color looking to increase their impact and input, build community, enhance their capacity, and most importantly, offer the additional support and development they rightly deserve and need.
What can participants expect?:
Anticipate a day of enrichment and empowerment. Our program is designed to be a community of identity affirmation, celebrating joy and inclusivity. Educators of Color will have the opportunity to:
- Craft and shape their evolving purpose statement, grounded in their unique talents, values, understanding of local & historical context, and personal and professional goals as Educators of Color.
- Design a leadership-reimagined action plan, integrating frameworks such as Your Oríkì, Community Cultural Wealth, and the Social Change Ecosystem.
- Participate in wellness practices and identify ways to incorporate wellness into their roles as educators of color.
