Tsew The Kid s’est imposé avec une fraîcheur hybride sur la nouvelle scène française. D’origine malgache, il a commencé à chanter très jeune dans une chorale gospel avant d’apprendre le piano et la guitare en autodidacte. Révélé avec « Diavolana » (« Rayon de lune »), mixtape certifiée disque d’or, il a su se distinguer avec une recette bien à lui : des textes introspectifs, une voix tout en nuances, un savant mélange entre chanson, pop et influence R&B. Il y injecte aussi des fragments de son héritage malgache entre douceur et mélodie.
Son nouvel album, À peine manqué, qui parachève un visage pop assumé est une nouvelle étape dans son évolution artistique.
