Tryouts: Majorette Competition Team

Come and show off your majorette skills at our auditions for the Divine Majorettes Elite Competition Team! This in-person event will take place at the DICA Studio — located inside Potomac Mills, across from Books-a-Million. Don't miss this opportunity to join a talented and award-winning majorette team. The Divine Majorettes Elite Competition Team is gearing up to proudly represent the Divine Inspirations Center for the Arts (DICA) in exciting competitive categories such as Stand Battle and Field Show. We invite you to our team tryouts, which is an unforgettable experience and your chance to shine, meet our incredible coaches, learn some new moves, and showcase your unique talents!

But wait, there's more... Just one week before auditions, DICA is hosting an "HBCU Experience: Majorette Dance Clinic," led by Kentucky State University alumni, and if you also register and attend that event on Jan 18, your audition fee is completely waived! That said, you still need to register for auditions to secure your spot!

💁‍♀️ Pull your hair back into a sleek ponytail for that polished look!

💄 Apply performance makeup (because looking fabulous is half the battle!)

💧 Bring plenty of water and, most importantly, your confidence!

🚫 Sorry parents, but this is a moment just for the performers—no spectators allowed!

Results will be provided at the end of tryouts and there will be a brief parent meeting with those who make the team. We can't wait to see what you've got—let's make some magic happen! See you soon!
