WARHAMMER ABERDEEN TRY SOMETHING NEW:
BOARDING ACTIONS & DREAD INCURSIONS
Saturday 24th & 31st of January
To join in with the excitement of 500 Worlds: Titus, we will be running two days of Boarding Actions/Dread Incursions demos, as well as tables available for you to play on if you already know how!
What is Warhammer 40,000: Boarding Actions?
Boarding Actions introduces rules for tightly-fought games of Warhammer 40,000 that recreate oppressive assaults on the claustrophobic confines of voidcraft and space hulks. It's a fresh way to play Warhammer 40,000 using your existing collections!
These small scale games at 500 points make use of the Boarding Actions Terrain Set and rulebook, adding thematic restrictions to list building and new variations on the rules, affecting how you build and fight with your armies. The new 500 Worlds: Titus book adds further to this with its new Dread Incursions rules as well!
Try Something New Demos:
We will have demos running throughout the day on the 24th and 31st for Boarding Actions for you to try it out! This is perfect if you’ve never tried it before - if you have your own Warhammer 40,000 army talk to staff and they can help you craft it into a 500 Point Boarding Patrol, if not then don’t worry! We have a bunch that you can borrow to try out this game mode and get stuck in! These will be running from 10:30am – 12:00pm, 13:00pm - 14:30pm and 15:00pm – 16:30pm! Try Something New Boarding Actions & Dread Incursion gaming:
If you’re already experienced with the fun of fighting inside voidcraft, then come on down and Try Something New with the new rules inside 500 Worlds: Titus! Bring your Boarding Patrol and match up against others to fight for victory! If you’re a bit rusty we will have staff on hand to help refresh you on the rules, why not bring a friend along too and get them signed up to battle Honours as part of our Call to Arms New Year activity. You’ll need a copy of the rules for your Boarding Patrol, your 500 point army, codex, dice and tape measure, but don’t worry about these if you're new to Warhammer - we have them all here for you and can let you use ours for your first try.
